Privacy Policy

Effective: July 12, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 12, 2026

AppyJax ("AppyJax," "we," "us," or "our") provides ProdAttend, an attendance management service for manufacturing companies, along with the appyjax.com website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Who We Are and How Our Service Works

ProdAttend is a business-to-business service. Our customers are employers ("Customers") who use ProdAttend to manage employee attendance reporting. Employees interact with ProdAttend by calling a designated phone number, sending text messages, or using an application to report absences or tardiness. Supervisors and managers receive notifications and use a web dashboard to view and manage attendance information.

In most cases, AppyJax processes personal information on behalf of and at the direction of the employer Customer, which controls the data. Your employer determines what information is provided to ProdAttend, who may access it, and how long it is retained. If you are an employee of a company using ProdAttend and have questions about your data, your employer's HR department is often the fastest path to an answer; you may also contact us directly using the details in Section 11.

2. Information We Collect

Information provided by your employer

Information generated when you use the service

Information from dashboard users

We do not collect payment card information through the service. We do not use the service to collect sensitive categories of data such as health diagnoses; absence reason codes are limited to general categories (for example, "illness" or "personal").

3. How We Use Information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program description: ProdAttend sends SMS text messages as part of an attendance notification program. Messages include attendance alerts to opted-in supervisors (for example, notice that an employee has reported an absence at a work center, with suggested replacements) and conversational messages supporting employee-initiated attendance reporting (for example, confirmations when an employee texts in an absence).

Message frequency varies based on attendance activity at your workplace.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time.

Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at trent@appyjax.com.

Consent: Consent to receive messages is obtained through your employer, which provisions employees and supervisors in ProdAttend and obtains consent at onboarding. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.

No third-party marketing: Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and opt-in data are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages (such as our SMS provider, Twilio).

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit, hashed storage of PINs (bcrypt), role-based access controls on the dashboard, authentication attempt limits and lockouts, and audit logging of data changes. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service to the employer Customer and as directed by that Customer, and afterward as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When a Customer relationship ends, we delete or return Customer data in accordance with our agreement with that Customer.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Because AppyJax typically processes employee data on behalf of an employer, we may direct your request to your employer or assist them in responding. You may also contact us directly at trent@appyjax.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message (see Section 4). Note that opting out of attendance notifications may affect your employer's ability to notify you through this channel; it does not affect your employment records themselves, which are controlled by your employer.

9. Children

ProdAttend is a workplace service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to our Customers.
